CloudRaker is looking for a Medical Writer to join our Montreal team. Someone who knows the health industry regulations (and how to bend them); someone who never backs down from a good challenge; someone with a get sh*t done attitude.

The ideal candidate is a master at navigating the pharmaceutical world and helping their team find creative solutions that respect PAAB regulations, while also managing 360 projects for various clients. 

This role is about more than just copywriting. It involves caring about your clients and knowing their business needs inside and out, and always being ready to provide solutions to problems before they arise.

Your day to day will be...

Partner with an Art Director and account servicing team to develop creative concepts that meet project objectives, comply with PAAB and/or ASC regulations, and exceed client expectations;

Write and edit medical and scientific content;

Oversee medical copywriting of all medical freelancers to ensure consistent quality as per CloudRaker standards 

Ensure that tone and style of every piece of writing we produce is on-brand; 

Prepare concepts for internal and client presentations to clients and be ready to defend them when challenged;

Think outside the box and challenge our clients to step out of their comfort zones to create memorable experiences for their audiences;

Stay informed about new trends and the best work in the advertising and pharmaceutical fields;

Participate in brand team meetings/strategic planning sessions and tactical sessions as required to ensure that brand strategic imperatives are aligned with tactical deliverables

Help educate the rest of the team about the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations. 

You have...

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;

Experience working on Pharmaceutical accounts;

PAAB’s and ACS experience;

Experience managing 360 campaigns;

Excellent communication skills in English and French;

A passion for staying informed about web, mobile, digital and traditional media trends.

You are...

Great at pushing concepts further and playing with words;

The most organized copywriter you know;

Extremely detail-oriented;

A team player who likes working closely with Strategists, Art Directors, Designers, Developers, and Advisors;

Always up for a new challenge;

An easy-going, light-hearted person who doesn’t take themselves too seriously;

Able to stay cool as a cucumber... even when deadlines are looming.
