CloudRaker is looking for an Account Planner (Strategist) to join our growing Toronto team. Working on national and international accounts, the Planner will work to deliver insights-based strategies for integrated campaigns, branding, activations, pitches and more. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring our team’s tech, media, creative and shopper expertise come together to produce work that truly adds value and responds to the client’s underlying business objectives.

Your day to day will be...

Analyze client needs and identify opportunities;

Provide meaningful insights from market research, competitive analysis, and deep consumer journey understanding;

Translate insights into briefs for the creative teams;

Develop effective strategies based on consumer insights and clients’ business objectives;

Work closely with the team (Advisors, Creative team, Media, Shopper...) to ensure strategic alignment throughout the project;

Provide strategic leadership for our clients and our team by providing a framework on various activities such as: brand strategy, communication and messaging strategy, persona development, value proposition, etc.

Participate in new business efforts and pitches when needed, including drafting, managing and creating presentations and responses to RFPs

Seek new opportunities to add value to existing clients.

You have...

Minimum of 5 years in an account planning / strategist role in an agency environment;

An educational background in Marketing and/or Strategy (school or mentorship from a brilliant strategist in an agency count);

Experience in developing brand and creative strategy & extensive knowledge about integrated marketing;

Worked on both offline & online campaigns for national and international clients;

A customer-centric approach;

Excellent communication skills in English (French would be an asset);

The ability to juggle multiple projects and know how to prioritize;

A passion for staying informed about marketing trends and consumer behavior;  

Experience with retail clients and shopper marketing campaigns (nice-to-have).
