As a member of the Strategy team, partner with Health Advisors, delivery experts and subject matter experts to position a brand, drug or portfolio in a competitive landscape as well as participate in the development of concepts that meet project objectives, comply with PAAB and/or ASC regulations, and exceed client expectations;
Develop and oversee content creation in support of various to market programs and products;
Oversee that the medical copywriting of freelancers and internal resources is on-brand with the key messaging to ensure consistent quality and consistency as per altavia.cloudraker standards;
Manage review cycles of deliverables (e.g. parallel reviews of copydecks, layouts, translations) against regulatory feedback and for quality control (e.g. referencing.);
Perform competitive strategy and analysis for various clients in different healthcare therapeutic areas;
Identify opportunities for brands to play a bigger role in the healthcare landscape;
Help design communications and key messages for patient programs and experiences;
Working alongside the creative subject matter group, prepare concepts for internal and client presentations to clients and be ready to defend them when challenged;
Think outside the box and challenge our clients to step out of their comfort zones to create memorable experiences for their audiences;
Stay informed about new trends and the best work in the advertising and pharmaceutical fields;
Participate in brand team meetings/strategic planning sessions and tactical sessions as required to ensure that brand strategic imperatives are aligned with tactical deliverables;
Help educate the rest of the team about the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role;
Experience working on Pharmaceutical accounts (agency or client-side);
PAAB and ASC experience;
Experience managing 360 customer/HCP experiences;
Excellent communication skills in English (and French if possible);
Trained as a medical writer (ideal);
A passion for staying informed about web, mobile, digital and traditional media trends;
Great at pushing concepts further and playing with words;
A team player who likes working closely with Art Directors, Designers, Developers, and Advisors;
Always up for a new challenge;
An easy-going, light-hearted person who doesn’t take themselves too seriously;
Able to stay cool as a cucumber... even when deadlines are looming.
