The challenge?
To rethink and revamp Bell.ca – the biggest e-commerce site in Canada – from A to Z so that it could become Bell’s primary sales & service channel over the next 5 years.

What if?
We saw two keys to success: First of all, keep it simple. And when it wasn’t, we made it feel easy. We increased “findability”, decreased effort, built a more efficient navigation scheme, and sped up the checkout process. The second goal was to persuade action. We removed the barriers to transact online by offering the right info at the right time and giving users tools that surpass the offline shopping experience.

So what?
Competition juries loved this one: a 2006 Webby Award, a 2006 Boomerang Grand Prize for best e-commerce website and 1st place in the 2006 Secor rankings for Quebec-based companies. But the jury we care about the most awarded us with the biggest prize when Bell's customer satisfaction surveys went through the roof.
